Luis Adelantado is pleased to invite you to the opening of Enrico Della Torre’s first solo exhibition, Instalación, to be held on 29 September in our Boiler Room.
The artist has prepared a series of large-format canvases for this exhibition. In them, he reflects on constant repetition, one of the conceptual axes of his work. Enrico’s charcoal drawing impacts on the canvas through multiple layers, building textures that make up the surface. The artist investigates the possibilities of space—legitimising a gesture or a void as the only element of the painting—inducing a double intentionality based on the modification of the usual positioning of paintings and the experience of the spectator.
This search is born from the intention of creating new compositions in the room. Finally, the outcome of his displayed installation questions the links between the expository elements through the space’s boundaries.
