José Luis Cremades
José Luis Cremades’ work is a reflection on the pictorial practice itself, understood by the artist as a living language in constant transformation. Through its own resources—composition, color, texture, rhythm …—he builds abstract works of unique presence and meaning.
In this way, Cremades offers the viewer an almost mystical, spiritual space for contemplation and reflection, in which the result of his constant practice and insistence on painting, ends up revealing what was previously hidden.
He has exhibited his work in institutions such as the Centro Párraga, Murcia, or the MuVIM, Valencia; as well as the MAC, A Coruña, Casal Solleric, Palma de Mallorca and Centro del Carmen Cultura Contemporánea, Valencia. Likewise, his work has been worthy of distinctions such as the BMW painting award medal of honor, the Alfons Roig Grant or the III Ibercaja Acquisition Award.
