This has been an unprecedented period, one that has favoured a time of reflection, encouraging us to develop new strategies and insights and enabling us to further the scope of our project in this new reality; a reality that we have fully taken on board.
One of the paths we have taken on the road to digitalisation is the creation of our ‘viewing room’ on the Gallery’s website, which means we are able to present new proposals parallel to the physical exhibitions at the gallery, thus adapting our gallery to this new format in order to optimise the contextual and conceptual possibilities.
We believe the best way to inaugurate this new on-line space would be a first person account of the Gallery’s history. Therefore, Intimate Accounts is the name given to this cycle of 3 exhibitions which we present while opening our on-line programme. These accounts show some of the key names and works that have been exhibited at Luis Adelantado over its 35 years of art gallery history.
Today, more than ever, we wanted to share this intimate, close-up account with all of you, revealing the depths of our history. In this exhibition the past goes hand-in-hand with the present, and generations intertwine and speak with full freedom. It is an exercise of insight leading us to delve into the future, based on the foundations of the past and commitment to the present.
